Job Summary
The Cardiology Program Administrator / Coordinator will support the development, coordination, and administration of cardiology education and training programs within the Cardiac Services Program. The role is responsible for planning and delivering structured certificate courses, coordinating fellowship training activities, and ensuring effective alignment between clinical services and educational commitments. The position also supports program budgeting, operational management, and quality improvement to strengthen the cardiology education portfolio.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate the development, planning, and scheduling of cardiology certificate courses and educational programs.
• Support the expansion of cardiology training programs in collaboration with departmental leadership and faculty.
• Coordinate clinical schedules of cardiologists and trainers to ensure appropriate balance between training and service delivery.
• Facilitate protected teaching time and ensure adequate clinical coverage during educational activities.
• Plan and deliver educational events including workshops, masterclasses, and structured training programs.
• Coordinate faculty participation, speaker schedules, participant registration, and certification processes.
• Support the operational management of cardiology fellowship programs, including rotations, academic timetables, and evaluations.
• Manage program logistics, including venue coordination, audiovisual requirements, and training resources.
• Monitor course budgets, track revenues and expenses, and prepare financial and operational reports.
• Maintain program databases, documentation, and compliance with institutional policies and governance requirements.
• Collect participant feedback, analyze program outcomes, and support continuous improvement of educational activities.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support program development and academic collaboration.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director, Cardiac Services Program.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in program coordination, academic administration, or healthcare education management.
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination, budgeting, and operational planning.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic clinical environment.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and organizational effectiveness.
