Role Summary:

The Regional Head – Marketing (Eastern Africa) is responsible for leading and executing marketing strategies across Kenya and the broader Eastern Africa region. The role focuses on driving brand growth, market penetration, demand generation, and revenue, while aligning regional initiatives with global and corporate objectives.
Region Covered: Eastern Africa
Reports To: Head of Marketing / Business Head
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement region-specific marketing strategies for Eastern Africa, with primary focus on Kenya
  • Drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement across markets
  • Lead and manage regional marketing teams and external agencies
  • Partner closely with sales teams to support business growth and pipeline development
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape
  • Manage regional marketing budgets and ensure strong ROI
  • Adapt global campaigns to suit local market dynamics and cultural nuances

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 12+ years of marketing experience, with regional leadership exposure in Eastern Africa
  • Strong understanding of Kenyan and Eastern African markets
  • Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and execution capabilities
