Invent Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Scrum Master to support Data & AI initiatives within a leading insurance-sector client environment. The successful candidate will facilitate Agile delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring effective sprint execution, stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery of data, analytics, and AI-related projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Agile delivery experience, the ability to work effectively with technical teams, and a solid understanding of software development and data project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Support delivery of Data, AI, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to define, refine, and prioritize product backlogs.
• Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery.
• Monitor team performance using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, cycle time, and sprint predictability.
• Coordinate activities across developers, data engineers, data analysts, QA teams, business stakeholders, and other project resources.
• Ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments and project milestones.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation processes.
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement across teams.
• Support adoption of Agile frameworks and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and delivery excellence.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead supporting technology projects.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience delivering software development, digital transformation, data, analytics, or AI-related projects.
• Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated experience working with technical teams including developers, data engineers, analysts, and QA resources.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience within financial services, insurance, banking, or regulated industries will be an added advantage.
